Our winter and shoulder-season trip, leaving any time you like between 10:00 and 15:00. Built for the history and the views rather than the swimming: a slow pass at the mouth of the Pirate Cave, on past Burç castle and the Byzantine ruins, a slow run along the Sunken City and an hour ashore at Kaleköy. We do not take the boat inside the cave: it is a breeding site for the Mediterranean monk seal and has been chained shut to boats since 2025. Hot tea and coffee throughout.
Museum and archaeological site tickets can be bought in advance at muze.gov.tr, where the current prices are also listed. A Müzekart, which covers entry to state sites for a year, can be bought at the site entrance.
